Bookings are now open for the Library Association of Ireland Public Libraries Section Conference and Exhibition 2018. This year’s venue is Mount Wolseley Hotel, Tullow, Co. Carlow. The conference will be held 7th – 9th November.
The theme of this year’s conference is literacy and how public libraries empower their local communities and it is shaping up to be a very exciting programme of speakers and sessions.
We are keeping the cost of a full delegate down to the same rate as previous years at €299. The full delegate rate covers attendance at conference sessions, 2 nights accommodation with breakfast, dinner on the evening of the 7th November, lunch on both the 8th and 9th November, all tea/coffee breaks, the pre-dinner drinks reception on the evening of the 8th Nov ember followed by the Gala dinner.
For delegates arriving on Thursday 8th November for one overnight, the rate is €179 for accommodation, all meals, Gala dinner and attendance at conference sessions.
We are offering a day delegate rate of €69. This covers attendance at conference sessions, coffee/tea break and lunch on either day.
