Tipperary County Council Library Service now offers an incredible range of online services. Comprising services from eBooks and eAudiobooks, to digital magazines and newspapers, online courses, and language learning, there’s something there for everyone. Explore the online content from our website at www.tipperarylibraries.ie. Sign-up now, it’s easy and free. All you need is a Tipperary Library Service membership card. To join, call into your local library or join online.
Online services mean it’s so much easier to bring your library with you. If you’re on the road, try listening to an eAudiobook. Or travelling by train? Then save yourself some money and download the latest digital magazines for free. Back to work and your skills are a bit rusty? Then do an online course in a wide choice of topics, from computer skills to marketing.
“We’re really excited about our new online services, which allow us to offer our customers a greater selection of choice and more ways to access library services,” says Damien Dullaghan, County Librarian.
With online services, you can access them anytime and from anywhere, so if you can’t make it to the library, let the library come to you. Download the free apps for Borrow Box, Zinio for Libraries and Mango Languages, and you can read books and magazines, and learn a language, all while on the go.
Tipperary Library Service is celebrating Online Services Week and Library Ireland Week from 28th November 2016. The theme is ‘Libraries: empowering through online access’ and the focus is on the amazing array of online resources available in our libraries. To find out more, or to get a demonstration in any of the online services, call into your library or check out www.tipperarylibraries.ie
